It's a big bad world and parents are obviously going to be concerned about their children's safety. To let the parents sleep a little easier, there are many of these tracking devices in the market. One of the newest to join the lot has been created by Princeton. It's called the Kid Finder and it is specially designed to find kids (I hope you don't lose yours on a regular basis). It is a remote that displays basic directional information to lead the holder to the corresponding receiver. Besides this, it gives information about the distance and has an alarm for the kid's side in case of danger.

Apart from finding your kid, you can probably even attach it to other belongings of yours. It only works up to 90 meters, so let's hope your kids don't get lost beyond that. It's probably very useful in a mall or park. The Kid Finder comes for $109 and you can buy it here.
