Toshiba Canada supports Breast Cancer Awareness month with the 13.3" Portege laptop
|

I hope you are aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Even if you aren't, it looks like all the big guns are aware of this and very keen on showing their support. First it was Sony's laptop line, now it is Toshiba's turn. Toshiba Canada has joined hands with Best Buy Canada to produce a special pink edition of their 13.3" Portege laptop. It is a standard laptop that leans towards the heavier side at 4.6lbs. The configuration of this pretty pink laptop for a cause is Intel Dual Core T3200 Processor, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, 3 USB Ports, Bluetooth, firewire, and a built-in memory card reader. Nothing very advanced about it, but it is on par with many laptops in the market today.
Toshiba Canada's pink edition of their 13.3" Portege laptop is available for $799 and $40 from the sale of each unit will be contributed to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. So apart from being fabulously pink, it is also doing the world some good, go get yours.
