Vacuum Shoe Concept from Electrolux

Strutting around indoors with the shoes on is gonna keep your den cleaner! We aren’t fooling. Although it’s yet in the conceptual stage, Electrolux an appliance manufacturer has unveiled this ingenious Vacuum Shoe concept model. Crafted like a pair of lurid green slippers they’re designed to suck up dirt. It features a thick and ugly sole designed to clean dirt as you hobble around. According to t3, it is still at the concept stage, but if the company’s executives are sensible enough, they’ll push them into production sooner. There is no information on the functionality of their design, such as how the shoes will create suction, find power, or store dirt, but these are just details. Will getting your feet off the ground be a problem then? May be it will allow you to walk on the ceiling too!
What gets me wondering is that you still need to walk around the house……so what’s the point in wearing vacuum shoes when you can just walk around in your slippers with an actual vacuum. Just that your hands can be free….
