Willcom launches the Pillow phone that lets you relax and chat

Many companies world over have observed their customer base going down and are trying to devise new strategies in a bid to get a hold on them again. One of them is Japanese company Willcom that has launched a new winter campaign that allows users to put their heads down and really relax while they talk on the phone, one the pillow. The campaign dubbed as “dare to demo pillow” entails giving away pillows to those who sign up for their services throughout the month of December. The star shaped pillow that comes in many colors has built-in microphones and speakers and also allows users to play back music on them by plugging their handsets in. Willcom that solely deals with less popular PHS phones has previously employed similar strategies in order to lure its customers back from the stronghold of smartphones. (I say, it’s futile!)
