BeepEgg will sing when your eggs are boiled
My breakfast is incomplete without two boiled eggs. So egg timers are a must for me. And when I heard about the latest egg timer, the BeepEgg, I knew I had to get it right away. A must for egg lovers like me, this device is just awesome. Just plop this plastic egg in the pan along with the real eggs and this tiny device will alert you when your eggs are boiled. And no, it won’t just beep, it will sing! Yes it’s true, if you wish to have medium boiled eggs wait till BeepEgg plays “I Wish I Was a Hen.” And if you want hard-boiled eggs, just wait for the device to sing “Carmina Burana.” It even beeps when the water starts to boil.
Using an internal thermostat to measure the water temperature throughout the cooking process, the egg timer calculates just what is going on inside the nearby eggs. As long as you remember to plop the BeepEgg at the same time as the real eggs (so they all start at the same basic temperature), you can expect accurate results.
Works best for medium and large eggs. As for extra large eggs, just wait 30 seconds after the BeepEgg bursts into a song. For stove use only, don’t expect this device to help you if you put it in your microwave. Available at Firebox for £14.95 ($ 20).
