Brasilia Table
|

The first glance at this table summons up the adjectives color, glamour and shimmer. But it’s more than what just meets the eye. “Brasilia” which is a disorderly assemblage of shiny silvers, is a creation of Fernando and Humberto Campana’s multisided tables (2005) and its brilliant color pays tribute to the designer’s country of origin and the stones on which Brasilia, capital of Brazil was built. The modern art sculpture, which is a chaotic mosaic of reflecting glasses, also looks as if it’s composed of the pieces of a broken mirror. This fruit of patience and meticulous hard work has flourished into tables of 5 sizes.
Brasilia table retails for $2,465.
