Customizing your old storage boxes doesn’t get easier than this
We all have ugly storage boxes from centuries gone to store everyday items in lying around our houses. Haven’t you more than once looked at this type of a dull box and wished you could trade it for something better? Well, now you don’t have to trade it, you can just turn it fabulous and this is how. You’ll need a few basic tools of the trade. A tape measure, a pair of sharp scissors, a roll of a wallpaper of your choice and some wood. Adhesive will also do. The first step is to get the tape measure and carefully measure the four sides on the inside of your blanket box, then measure the bottom of the box along with the inside of the lid. After you are done with all this measuring, unroll the wallpaper, mark with a pencil the width and length of the first side you plan to cover, cut it out with the scissors and keep repeating this until you have six pieces or one for every side you want to line.
The last step is to take one piece of the cut out wall paper and by using a brush, cover the back with wood adhesive followed by placing the paper on the corresponding side of the box. Then press all over until the paper lies flat with no air bubbles showing. Let the box sit for a few hours and voila! You have a turned your old storage box into a new fabulous one.
