Floating bloody mess liquid lamp is creepy yet cool

Are you a fan of the Saw movies? Then you’ll certainly appreciate the Liquid Lamp designed by Kouichi Okamoto and made of steel which comes equipped with a 25-watt lamp. The creepy puddle of red stuff that resembles blood is actually the lamp’s stand which makes the lamp look like it’s floating, from a distance. It seems that the perfectly rounded red dots also come complementary with the lamp. But if you can’t stand bloodshed, then you may prefer the more peaceful version of the lamp which comes in a Grayish shade. It still drops liquid, but it’s gray, so you might as well perceive it as plain paint.

Japanese design shop Caina sells the Red Liquid lamp for $262 and the Gray one for $227. There is also the similar liquid bookmark which can make a good match for the Liquid Lamp by your bedside.
