Game Collector Syd Bolton gets a Pac-Man coffee table custom made
Ontario-based game collector Syd Bolton decided to hire artist Erin McFadden to make him a table that could fit right into his game room. And let’s face it, there’s no better table than a one that features Pac-Man. McFadden did well by turning a boring old coffee table into a totally geeky one that features a classic arcade Pac-Man scene. Bolton seems to be pretty happy with the final result, however he had something way more cooler in mind.
“At first I wanted a collage of my favorite video games characters,” he writes, “like Link, Mario, Dirk the Daring, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper.” But it seems that the Pac-Man table was due as it would match an original Pac-Man arcade cabinet that he has just added to his collection. Maybe, next time we’ll see other dream table! The geek in me loves his vision and collection.
