Kasapon dispenser is very convenient

This isn’t common practice around here, but Japan stocks up plastic bags in public places at the entrance to cover wet umbrellas. It’s a pretty good idea as it avoids sloppy messes. To facilitate this, we have the Kasapon dispense. All you have to do is slide in your umbrella and it automatically slips on a bag. RetailTech 2010 featured this Kasapon dispenser which also had a “umbrella bag collection machine”. It’s pretty cool that you can just put your umbrella into the hole and when you pull it back up the slip is magically gone. The best part is there is no external power needed, it functions on good old springs. The dispensers are capable of storing over hundreds of plastic bags. It will set you back by a whopping $1800 though. I wonder if you can fit the Samurai Sword Handle Umbrella with a plastic bag from this dispenser.
