Diana Lin Design LLC, designs and manufacturers these strange but completely innovative products! This time around, it’s the dºlight Huggable pillow. I’ll give you a word on the technical mambo jumbo of the pillow first. The shell is a thick mesh fabric holding in some silicon gel balls each with its own LED. There’s a pull string in the back to turn on the lights. It’s powered by a couple of AA’s but it also comes with a small AC adapter. Now let me think about what it would be like to actually own one. I doubt, I could fall asleep on a pillow that glows, but that is hardly the point. It is more about adding some style and originality to your otherwise drab bed or couch. The pillow is bound to get noticed and be the talk of the evening. It doesn’t seem to be a battery eater either. I thought that maybe on cold nights the LED lights could provide some warmth, but I hear the pillow stays unaffected by the heat produced by the lights.
