Pillow Talk connects long-distance lovers!

Pillow Talk made me cry as it scores a perfect 10 on the emotional meter. It’s got the stuff that all exceptional things are made of. Forget amalgamating fashion and technology and look at the ‘Pillow Talk’ which in a way combines emotions and technology. Pillow Talk is a project by Interaction Design Student Joanna Montgomery which aims at bringing long distance lovers closer, so close that they can hear the real-time heartbeat of their loved one.
It uses a sensor that is fitted into a wearable chest strap which one wears to bed at night. This sensor helps the two lovers to be in touch, though not literally. If one of them goes to bed, the other’s pillow glows in indication. The mechanism involves a flat panel containing the circuit, small speakers and lights.
