I just love it when people name new products after food. I mean it just makes you buy the item named after your favorite dish and have it with you forever. In a weird sort of way, it's like having your cake and eating it too. So for all those who just can't resist the lip smacking Japanese dish Sushi, why not bring home the new furniture piece; Sushi. An entry in the 2008 Create The Future Design Contest, it is a cool furniture design, created by Winaya Suwarnaga Kamaputri, a student from Australia. What sets this piece of furniture apart from the rest is its multi purpose function, you can you use it as a stool, a sofa or even a bookshelf! The unique design was achieved by using a laser cutting technology and is made from a high gloss finished fiber glass base with fine fabric upholstery. The creator teams it up as a futuristic design for both children as well as adults.
Made out of hand-shaped Eternit, Sushi is absolutely water and frost-proof and can be used outdoors all around the year. Just remember to not confuse it with another home decor product with the same name that is a vessel for plants. Buy this design and give your house that much needed futuristic look.
