World's first inflatable seat belts are here by Ford

inflatable_seat_belts.jpg
So finally, the world's first automotive application of inflatable seat belts is here and this is pioneered by Ford. The description says that it has combined the attributes of traditional seat belts and air bags to provide a increased level of crash safety protection for the rear seat occupants. "Ford's rear inflatable seat belt technology will enhance safety for rear-seat passengers of all ages, especially for young children who are more vulnerable in crashes," said Sue Cischke, Ford group vice president of Sustainability, Environmental and Safety Engineering. If you do happen to meet with an accident, you will be safer with these belts as they hold you in position better. The air-bag equipped seat belts will make their debut in 2010 on the next-generation Ford Explorer and later be featured in all Ford vehicles.

Shu Uemura’s special cosmetics for holidays in collaboration with Tsumori Chisato are here and believe me, the packaging looks hot. The demure cat on the kit hints that all the make up can turn you into a naughty kitten! Also, there's a lot of sparkle here that promises to provide you with some dazzling looks. The kit contains all the basics any girl could want. It's real USP lies in the packaging though that sets it apart from the rest.

Insta-Beard to disguise you as a man

Insta-Beard.jpg
I don't know what it with fake beards and moustaches, but girls seem to be wanting to sport these. I mean, we already wear pants, do we really need a beard as well to fully transform into a man? Some might think this woolen beard looks cute, but I'm not impressed at all. Keep up your feminine grace unless of course you need the beard for Halloween or a play you are acting in! You can get it over at Etsy if it really appeals to you. It might be a man's world, but we don't need to prove that by putting on fake beards!

Cooktops from Apex Inox to help you save space

Apex_Cooktops.jpg
These days it's hard to have a spacious kitchen unless you live like a king. So in the cramped up kitchen that we all have to live with, it's quite hard to manage everything. But to save on space and for convenience in such kitchens, we have the flip up gas cooktops from Alpes Inox. Another option to consider is the corner cooktops which utilize an area of the kitchen often neglected and wasted. So overall, I think these cooktops are worth a shot.

Pretty pink gadget by Bandai to judge your skin

Bandai_skin_detector.jpg
Do you have beautiful skin? Then I'm sure you don't mind having someone tell you that you do. Do you have bad skin? Then I'm sure you don't want anyone to mention, but someone needs to nudge you in the right direction to take care of it. Well whatever the case, Bandai's Skin Expert will serve both purposes. You need to hold it up to your face and it tells you how healthy your skin is. Pretty handy device I'd say, especially for those who neglect skin care. This will serve as a gentle reminder.

Delicously colorful Crayola 64 Box of Crayons cake

crayola-crayons-cake.jpg
Crayons are any kid's delight, heck they still appeal to me with their colorful goodness. Some kids try to chew and nibble the crayons cos they look so delicious and we always have to stop them. But not this time around, because this amazing Birthday Cake made by Duff Goldman for the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Crayola 64 Box of Crayons is meant to be eaten. It looks so colorful and yummy. I'm really stoked that so much effort went into the making of a cake. All the icing on it must be delicious. I want to nibble on the pink crayon.

Get rid of wrinkly cleavages with this revolutionary bra

Wrinkel_Bustin_bra.jpg
Some women are overly concerned about wrinkly cleavages. There's a solution for this and that too at an affordable price. You have to wear this bra at night to keep the boobs apart - smoothing unsightly skin creases. It's the invention of former air hostess Rachel De Boer, 48, after she became worried about the look of her own 34C bosom in low necklines. Sun and beaches do this to your skin and usually creams don't work. This might be your best bet at avoiding those crinkles. Rachel, of Amsterdam, hopes M&S and other big British stores will stock her La Decollette bra, which is already in Dutch lingerie shops. Even if you already have wrinkles, it'll help your skin recover.

The Titanico LD Watershed is an interesting seat made from leather strung between metal rails and it has an anatomical cutout to ease perennial pressure. This seat originates from California and it comes in a variety of really appealing colors. You can go for the conventional brown or black or you can go for pink, white, red and yellow. Depends on what suits you the most. The leather used here is very flexible and the rounded seat offers maximum comfort. It is quite expensive at $180, but if you are interested, you can buy it here.

Jessica’s exChange project is like breathing down someone's neck

exChange-networked-breathing.jpg Let's talk about wearable electronic clothing. It helps people stay connected physically. They say that since clothing is very close to us it is highly suitable to be used to bridge the gap between our virtual and the physical identities. To elaborate on this, Jessica Floeh, design and technology student at Parsons did an interesting project called exChange. She used stretch sensing technology to share the breathing with another person. You will find that one person's inhalation and exhalation triggers a small fan to inflate and deflate a thin plastic membrane in the wearable object on another person. I suppose sharing a breathing pattern with someone can soothe you.

Now you can have that perfect cup every morning.

Roll your eyes at time with the Eye Clock

eye-clock_1.jpg
I happen to love clocks, so I never pass up a chance that allows me to talk about a cool clock. The Eye Clock is really fun and it stops you from being anal about time. It's for all of us who like to roll our eyes at time and being punctual isn't a priority. Here, one eye shows the hours, one shows the minutes. The rolling eyes are absolutely brilliant, they mock time. Who cares about precision anyway? Counting minutes and seconds is not my style anyway.

Wink Glasses help you blink

winkglasses_reading.jpg
You have to check out these Wink Glasses by Masunaga. It has a small and compact mounted display fixed on a pair of Glasses that will “force” you to blink or wink regularly, by blurring your vision. It might seem strange, but blinking is in fact very essential for your eyes as it provides the necessary moisture. I think I blink quite often, so I don't really need glasses to remind me to do that. However, if you think you don't blink often enough and stare a little too much, this is for you. Right now, the glasses are available only in Japan.
