MI-O Cell Phone Cradle is very convenient

MI-O_CellPhone_Cradle1.jpg
Some people think that their iPhone is far more precious than even their lives. I can understand that, because the phone has more or less become their life! So obviously, you would want to handle the phone with utmost care if you happen to be one of those people. The MI-O Phone cradle by CagninaDesign is a good way to ensure that your phone is safe from falls while charging. The plastic here is held in place by the power pack and the cord simply wraps underneath to keep it a tidy discreet unit. The company offers mass customization to accommodate specific client needs such as company logo, contacts information, web address, etc. You can buy it for $3 at Yanko Design. It works with other phones as well.

HTC Touch HD2 coming to the US next year

HTC_HD2.jpg
Peter Chou, the CEO of HTC that the company’s just revealed HD2 would be available for the US as early as 2010 but what he did not mention or did not want to mention was which carrier will be carrying the HTC! I wonder why? This phone is a multi-touch Windows mobile smartphone and it will only need a switch in 3G support to work with AT&T or T-mobile in the US. This HTC Touch HD2 is likely to see US shores after few months of the European release. If such a switch does take place, then the carriers could be Verizon or Sprint.

Nokia phone turns Steampunk

nokia_steampunk.jpg
Usually, I think Nokia has the worst designs for their phones. I don't remember a single Nokia phone being stylish in the least bit. So I can understand John Mavrovic's decision to make one look better. However, with his excess use of a broken typewriter, parts of old clocks and rusted screws, I admit the effect is very much Steampunk, but it's kind of an eye sore. It says Globus on it and I'm sure it's going to be a hit with a niche crowd. I think I'll stick to the Sony Ericsson Hello Kitty Phone instead.
