LG looking at a 8 megapixel camera phone release
|

Mobile phones seem to be the melting pot of all kinds of technology right now. Be it tvs or insect repellents or music players. However, at the moment the competition is between which mobile phone can capture the best quality pictures and quite possibly completely eliminate digital cameras. Sony is already leading the pack, but LG and Motorola are both trying to catch up with their 8 megapixel camera phones. Apparentally, LG's KC9010 is all set to dazzle the world in October. What you can expect from this fabled phone is a Xenon flash, image stabilisation, face recognition and video recording in 720 x 480 at a frame rate of 30fps. The guesses about its outer body are that it is 14mm thick and aluminium framed with tempered glass along with a WVGA touch screen.
All this sounds very sophisticated and classy on paper, we only wish we had a few pictures of this stylish LG 8 megapixel phone. We wouldnt complain even if the snaps were captured from measly 5 megapixel cameraphones. Just give us some eye candy to go with the rumours.
