Make your own superhero blockbuster with the Lego Super Hero Movie Maker iOS app

Is it a bird, is it a plane, no its Lego man?! With the movie, Avengers just released, and Batman Rises just a couple of months away, we only have superheroes on our minds! These movies are not enough to satisfy us. That is why we are so excited about the new app from Lego called LEGO Super Hero Movie Maker. This iPhone and iPad app lets you create a LEGO stop motion movie. It is very simple to execute; even little children have no problem learning it. To begin your movie, snap frames by setting up your first shot, tapping the screen, moving your subject(s) a bit, and then tapping again. It has a 3×3 grid to help you with framing, and an onion-skin type overlay of a transparent image of the previous onto the next frame to help with positioning your characters. You can also choose from one of five soundtracks to score your “movie.” You may just create the next big blockbuster!


The Lego Super Hero Movie Maker app is aimed at kids, and is a great way for them to express their creativity. I’m sure a lot of adults out there will be spending a few hours on this fun app. You can download it free, from the App Store today.
