Mia a new feminine make-up phone by BenQ-Siemens
|

BenQ-Siemens launched Mia- a pastel-colored EF61 cell phone with a girl-friendly flower petal print on the front. In powder blue with a feathery petal design and matching fringed leather charm, the sleek clamshell is a nice change from the usual bubblegum pink lady phones, and borrows all the best bits from Siemens successful CL75 Poppy model. Due to the addition of a groove along the clamshell's curves opening Mia up is a lot easier on the nails. The 'beauty' trick is that it comes with an integrated compact mirror and is pre-loaded with Pout's '5 minutes to fabulous' java application. With scrolling text, photos and even a zoom feature, it'll show you how to do your makeup in five easy steps.
The screen is apparently also a lot better as is the built-in 1.3 megapixel camera. Add to this a matching powder blue stereo headset and data cable, and you'll be counting down the days until September when you can pick Mia up in a slinky satin pouch. It's been designed by an all-female team with women in mind, but it's nice to see that there are plenty of great features to back up the gimmicks. It’ll be available from high street stockists for $184 (£100) on pay-as-you-go as well as from BenQ-Siemens.
