Microsoft + Verizon = Pink phone – Hoping for this equation to stand true
If reports are to be believed, Microsoft in collaboration with Verizon is all set to offer a new Windows Mobile-based cell phone called – Pink. And according to a report in the Wall Street Journal the phone could be available early next year. Over the last two years Microsoft has seen rival operating systems gain ground and that could be the reason why the company decided to create its own device in a bid to restore Windows Mobile’s position in the market. Microsoft’s move could put it in competition against handset makers such that use Windows Mobile OS extensively. Wonder if this strategy will backfire or be a best seller. But the name suggests that Microsoft is banking on its female consumers to make this phone a hit. What say girls, any takers for Microsoft Pink?
