Samsung Access is the first to support AT&T Mobile TV
|

Folks at Samsung have double a reason to smile as today as today it has officially released the SGH-A827, the Samsung Access. It is also Samsung's first mobile TV phone for AT&T, a mobile television service featuring high-quality programming and it certainly has a face for radio. Look elegant, this bar styled phone offers a large, crisp and clear 2.3" landscape display comparable to DVD quality, ideal for viewing multimedia content. You can also look out for features like dual-band 3G and quad-band GSM, one-touch access to AT&T Mobile TV, Video Share, AT&T Mobile Music, Bluetooth, a microSD slot and a 1.3 megapixel camera with video.
The AT&T service itself will pack the normal roster of channels for mobile, including Comedy Central, ESPN Mobile, NBC and Fox, but no ABC. At least not yet, as Samsung hints that AT&T will be offering two exclusive channels, to be announced later. From May onwards, it will be available at select AT&T retail locations.
