Sanyo and Sprint join hands to present a new cell phone for fashionistas called the Katana DLX along with its predecessor Katana II. This clamshell range provides easy access to Sprint's exclusive multimedia content, including the Sprint Music Store. It also offers more total download capacity (21MB) than the former Katana. This has boosted the device's capacity for games, ring tones, applications and more. Other tech features include a microSD memory card slot (up to 4GB in size), a 1.3 megapixel camera, EV-DO connectivity, compatibility with Sprint's Power Vision services, MP3 playback, speakerphone functionality, and PIM applications. It’s the colors (Platinum Ice, Pink Satin, and Champagne) and the luxurious shine that sets this phone apart from others. Katana II is available in Cosmic Black, Pink Fascination and Midnight Steel.

Both Katana DLX and Katana II are available in all Sprint retail channels including www.Sprint.com. Katana II is priced at $50 and Katana DLX at $130.
