It might be for ages 7 to 14 and I might be just a little over that age group, but this product by Sakar still poses infinite appeal to me. As far as the weight goes, its extremely light at less than an ounce. It is made out of light weight durable and sturdy plastic. It can hold only 1GB worth of music, but I'm not complaining. The looks make up for it. The headphones included are pink and super girly as expected. But they don't provide the best sound, so you might be better off by adding your own. Since it is targeted towards kids, it is extremely simple to use. Very straightforward functions, no complications. The main glitch is that changing the face plates is quite a chore. It involves a lot of tugging. Also, using an AAA battery is a pain, you know how quick they empty. Kids can store files for homework on the player which is a redeeming factor.
