Japan Kimono wearing bot reads you audiobooks
|

I personally cannot stand audiobooks because I think they take the fun out of reading and ruin a perfectly good tale. However, not many people see eye to eye with me on this one. I know tonnes of ppl who will ever only read a book by listening to it. For those who belong to this category a fine looking lady bot reading out a nice story is just the thing. Kyoto University's Robo Garage has created a foot tall japanese looking robo lady for you who will be kind enough to read Murasaki Shikibu's classic and oldest novel, The Tale of Genji. This is possible with the help of an mp3 player inside the bot. The book is based on a kimono clad japanese woman who looks much like this robot which kind of adds some authenticity to the story. However, if you don't understand japanese then this lady will be of no help to you.
But don't worry maybe someone will mimic Robo-Garage's idea and come up with a bot that reads you A tale of Two Cities or Little Women in english. Finally, people can catch up on some literature! By the way, this bot is just so adorable.
