Sony Walkman NWZ-B142F ZAPPIN Music player promises 5-second ‘en-track’ clips

Here’s a PMP player that claims to be a tad different from the usual with a new ZAPPIN function which plays a five-second clipping from the middle of the song, so the listener can easily find his favorite songs from the list without looking at the screen. What makes the NWZ-B142F a bit slow for today is an internal memory of only 2GB. It also has a three-line monochrome LCD display if you’re not too fond of audio previews. File transfers could be done with the USB 2.0 connector and it includes an FM tuner as well as voice recording functions.

Another special feature is that of the three-minute ‘quick charge’ which is good for a runtime of 90 minutes and the battery gives a good 18-hour playback. You could choose from Black, Red, Orange and Pink.
