Sony Walkman S600/S700 Series in vibrant colors

Colors and music rule our lives! Walkman is synonymous to portable personal stereo player. Way back, the original Walkman brought about a change in music listening habits, allowing us to carry our own choice of music. Sony Japan just spilled the beans on their new colorful Walkman S series of digital audio players- NW-S600 and NW-S700. Both flash players feature a 3-line OLED display, MP3/AAC/WMA/ATRAC support, up to 50 hours of battery life, and a nifty 3-minute quick charge that fills the device with enough juice for 3 hours of playback. . The NW-S700 is the more exclusive one of the pair, boasting "integrated noise cancellation control" technology; this thingy also comes with futuristic-looking EX earbuds in which Sony has managed to fit an integrated line-in microphone.

The NW-700, dressed up in an assortment of colors, will make its debut in Japan next week. The NW-600 will follow suit in black, pink, and blue on November 18. The NW-S600 will cost $125 for1GB and $125 for 2GB version. The NW-S700 is priced at $240 for a 4GB model.
