Sony’s new Golf ball sized speakers

You want a perfect home theatre system without having large towers occupying the living space, hence Sony brings you the 5.1 speaker system, the HT-IS100 which weighs 4 tiny 43*43 mm speakers weighing 70g each and measuring a gold ball size (42.67*42.67mm) The system features a trio of HDMI ports, optical digital audio jacks, coaxial digital audio and composite and stereo outs too. There is no information as to when it will be hitting the stores in North America and Europe, but Japan has it on 25th June for 90,000 Yen ($883)

For those who don’t need a 5.1 audio system, the HT-CT100 is perfect. The 3.1combo pairs a center speaker and subwoofer delivering a maximum audio output of 250W.
