Target Pink iPod shuffle Special Edition in support of Breast Cancer
|

Gear up for a lot pink gadgets mushrooming up the following month as it’s the official month supporting Breast cancer. Now Target too is targeting this issue by offering a special edition pink Apple iPod shuffle and iTunes gift card combo. It will be donating a portion of the proceeds of each sale to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (totaling $25,000). Fine but I feel Target is standing true to the famous adage ‘Kill two birds with one stone.’ They have agreed to cut into their own profits to support a charity, and in return Hope to sell more units and clear stocks. However it’s yet not to clear whether the promotion is in association with Apple or simply a move by Target.
For the same $79 that Apple charges for the diminutive clip-on digital players, Target is also throwing in a $15 iTunes gift card. All the same, the pack up is a great deal for females. Rush as there's no telling when supplies will run out. Hey did you realize that the word "Shuffle" is capitalized in Target's campaign, yet on Apple's iPod shuffle site, the "s" is lowercase.
