Walnut YoYo cracks open the shell easily

Snack-Cracking-Toys.jpg
I love walnuts, but cracking the shell open is such a tedious task. I'm no wonder woman and I have no extra strength, so it really is next to impossible for me. However, even a weakling like me can crack this hard nut with the Walnut YoYo that is designed by Xiaofei Wang and Beibei Wu. All you have to do is place the healthy nut with its shell inside the orb and then smash it against a hard wall to release it from its prison. Just be careful with your nut cracking antics or someone will get hurt!

Lady Gaga grooves in cookies!

Lady_Gaga_Cookies.jpg
Lady Gaga has the world going ‘gaga’ over her looks and costumes. After Barbie borrowed her various avatars its now time for the very predictable Lady Gaga Cookies to come into existence. Fffireburns and Matt baked cookies and decorated them to match Lady Gaga’s costumes! You can see the baked masterpieces juxtaposed with a photo of the singer wearing the represented outfit. If you don’t like the Lady in question, here is your chance to eat her up. How sadistic is that huh?

Machines give dogs a shower in Japan

wash_for_dog.jpg
Dogs hate baths, in fact pets in general hate baths. Who can blame them as they are hydrophobic? I think they'd absolutely loathe machines that are designed to help them bathe. But Japan has been using such gizmos for their pets. Check out the video to get a better idea of how it works. The machine even blow drys your dog. I think my dog would be so annoyed with me if I put him through this process. This machine is best suited for overly pampered poodles that belong to divas.

Gizmodiva asks…are you for public displays of affection or against?

couple-kissing-by-bus-in-London.jpg Would you let go of a memorable moment that could have been shared between you and your spouse just because a couple of strangers are looking at you? Romantically speaking, who cares? But then there is also a code of conduct on the flipside. Romeo wouldn’t care if he was being stared at when he warmed up to his sweetheart but what would you do? Apparently, two Briton’s have been sentenced to a month-long imprisonment after a local woman took objection to them kissing in a Dubai restaurant.

Vertical Prison up in the air!

Vertical-Prison-2.jpg
Some people believe that post-release offenses are high and these need to be prevented. I agree but the Vertical Prison idea takes it so seriously that it doesn’t allow the criminal to even stay on the ground. This project will be vertical prison in the sky, above the crime-prone land where inmates will have to work and live in a community that will contribute to the host city below. They will give back their due to the city by working. This idea is really swell also the inmates will leave a free life up in the air till the completion of their sentence.

pillow_wedding.jpg
There surely isn’t a dearth of pretty girls in Japan; what made Lee Jin-gyu fall for his 'dakimakura' - a kind of large, huggable pillow is best known to him. Love knows no boundaries but it doesn’t even know species anymore. He is so much in love with his pillow he actually takes it (her?) everywhere he goes. Now the 28 year old has taken it to the highest level by getting married to the pillow in a special ceremony, after fitting it out with a wedding dress for the service in front of a local priest.
