Banana vending machine for a healthy food choice on the go
Bananas are a whole meal. You can have them on the go and feel energised, plus they are healthy. So vending machines that give out bananas are a really smart idea. The Japanese local subsidiary of international leading banana distributor Dole has put the country’s first banana vending machine at an underground shopping mall in Shibuya last week. One banana retails for $1.50 and a bunch can be bought for $4.5. The vending machine has a fridge and maintains stored bananas at 13 degrees. The machine can hold 100 packages (some are pieces, others are bunches). It’s made sure that the bananas are fresh and in good condition as well.
