Cupidtino Dating Site brings ‘Machearts’ together

There are far too many dating sites around and they are pretty yawn inducing. However, if you happen to be an Apple fan looking for love, you might just be in luck with the Cupidtino dating site. It has been set up so like minded Apple die hards can find their soul mates or ‘Machearts’. It seems that if two people share a love for iphones and ipads and macs, they might be meant to be together forever or at least give internet dating a shot. About 16,000 Apple fanboys and fangirls have signed up since the site launched in early June. They give out information like their earliest Apple product purchases and lists of favorite iPhone apps on their profile pages which of course is the only thing that should matter in your partner. It has been created Mel Sampat, a former Microsoft employee who came up with the idea during an argument with his girlfriend over whether he should use his iPad during dinner. If they ever break up, he definitely wants to go for an Apple fan. “The more I thought about it, the more I realized people that are true Apple fans might actually have a lot more in common than they realize,” he said. Apple seems to approve and support this idea. You better have an Apple product like a Mac, iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad. And you can only sign up on a Mac or iPad; Cupidtino quickly disabled iPhone signups because users can’t upload photos from the device. It’s filtration features aren’t great yet. I think it’s a nice platform for fellow Apple lovers to meet.
