Women are known for their gluttonous and insatiable appetite for shopping and shoes in particular. Most men and women themselves knew about their ‘little’ fetish, nonetheless, here’s a scoop from the fact file: 4 in every 10 women end up buying a pair of desirable shoes even if they don’t fit! According to a research, 37 per cent of female shoppers were willing to put up with uncomfortable and ill-fitted shoes if they were in fashion. This incongruity lies not only with women, but the hypocritical men too, as 17 per cent of them admitted to buying shoes in the wrong size.
The Poll that surveyed 2000 adults concluded that 80 per cent of women suffered from foot problems such as cracked heels, bunions, corn and ingrowing nails. It also revealed that 4 out of 10 women didn’t seek medical advice for their foot problem.
