Hanayama Toys make Meiji Seika chocolate puzzles

meiji_dark111.jpgThe "Cadbury" of the Orient, Meiji Seika chocolates are staple to Japan. Paying a tribute to these delicious chocolates are toy makers Hanayama Toys. They have come out with a guilt-free way to enjoy these chocolates. They have designed polyomino puzzles that look just like large bars of Meiji milk or dark chocolate, right down to the packaging. The solve the puzzle you need to put the pieces together to form different shapes, after which you'll have to fit everything back into the rectangular box. The milk chocolate version has 12 pieces, each a pentomino (5 "chocolate" squares), while the dark chocolate version has 11 pieces, each a hexomino (6 "chocolate" squares). These puzzles are not available online but you could check out some Japanese bookshops.
