Hello Kitty Theme Park finally opens in Tokyo, Japan
For Hello Kitty Fans, there is a heaven on earth now. If you just can’t seem to get enough of this popular kitty’s fix, you need to head to Hello Kitty’s Kawaii Paradise. It is a theme park that is one of a kind and totally dedicated to Hello Kitty. It is set in Tokyo’s Odaiba district. It sits nicely in the huge Venus Fort Mall and is all set to become a really popular destination. The 10,000-square foot attraction is being called an indoor theme park, unfortunately it seems too small to operate any major rides. No need to pout yet, as it does include a theater with Hello Kitty cartoons projected onto a domed ceiling, a restaurant that serves Hello Kitty pancakes, and that bastion of all theme park values, the gift shop. That’s more than enough for us Hello Kitty lovers. Sanrio Puroland and Harmonyland are two other parks that are based on Hello Kitty and her friends. However, this is the pretty cat’s first exclusive park. Kawaii (which means “cute” in Japanese) Paradise is an apt name, that’s for sure. The park’s operator, PleasureCast is expecting at least 700,000 visitors in the debut year itself. This is exciting stuff, one more reason to visit Japan!
