Jump and see how many calories you lose!
|

Do you jump the rope as a part of your exercise regimen? Well here’s something that should help you keep count of the number of times you jump the rope for each workout session you do. Designer Jacky Wu has used a spectacular idea and used LED lights in the jump rope and the end result is a product named Jumplay. As you jump, the device records each revolution then displays that figure (along with time and calories burned) using LEDs embedded on the rope. Now this is the perfect way to keep a count on the number of calories you have burnt if you like jumping the rope as an exercise. And it has been known that jumping the rope can be extremely good for the body and keeps you in great shape. Some women swear by it and with this new jump rope, I am sure even more will join in! What happened to simple runs on the neighborhood park?
Although, there is one problem with this rope. Well, it’s not really a problem with the rope as much as it might be with you if you have gigantic feet. More than often, large feet tend to get stuck in the rope keeping your jump count embarrassingly low. Not the kind of thing you want to advertise. Good thing for that the Jumplay is only a concept at this point eh?
