Kartell designs glamorous life size doll house for Barbie

As a little girl, I was completely in love with Barbie and doll houses. While I've grown out of that phase, I still like some pink in life. Kartell has joined hands with Barbie for the Milan Design week to design the perfect house for this infamous doll. It is a human size house that is extremely glamorous and luxurious. The life-size Barbie looks like she is really pleased with it. I like the little touches that Kartell has added to the house like the limited Barbie version of Philip Stark's Louis Ghost chair. It's a great way to celebrate Barbie's 50th birthday anniversary and Kartell's 60 long years in design.

Just for this special occasion, Kartell has come up with special Barbie furniture miniatures that will be for sale. The profits from this will go to Save the Children foundation. I just completely love the glamorous design. If this is what it is like in a doll's life, we are really missing out!
