Little Island offers to create a mini robotic version of you
|

Little Island has offered to create a tiny, custom robot version of you, which can apparently even be used as a VoIP phone of sorts to freak out family members when you're away. Just send the makers your picture and get a mini version of you in six weeks or more. This offer was probably created to satisfy all the narcissistic folks out there who just cant get enough of themselves. Indeed very creepy, these robots are sure to freak out your friends and family. The robot is equipped with a built in camera to let you check out its surroundings via a connected computer and can also do a few basic tasks like read your RSS feeds or check the weather. The robot is also essentially just a plush PC itself (complete with a 500MHz Geode processor), so we are sure it will appeal to quite a few geeks and nerds out there.
But creating a mini hi-tech version of you doesn’t come cheap. You have to be willing to shell out over $2000 to get this robot. This is one offer I’d like to pass.
