New pills relieve women from menstrual cramps

Those five days of the month are dread by almost every woman on earth. A good news for all such woman who have suffered those five days, Vantia Therapeutics has announced the launch of an oral small molecule drug for now known as VA111913. This drug has entered its second phase of testing as a treatment for painful menstruation. If results are successful the drug could be available for commercial use within the next four years. Preclinical trials have shown that this pill helps normalize muscle contraction that causes abdominal cramping during menstruation. This drug is sure to be a better alternative than over the counter drugs and pain killers.
