Run for a cause, run for a support, run for your health, run for fitness, run for fun but RUN! The virtual race is the most motivating concept I have come across of late. Thanks to Nike! On October 21, 2007, you can be a part of making Nike+ history by joining their first virtual counterpart to the Nike Women’s Marathon taking place in San Francisco. Many of us who tried to register for this Marathon in SF and found it sold out need not be dejected as they can now participate here instead. And gals, guys can take part too, so kick your boyfriend’s butt and get him registered too. I’m sure its gonna be more fun together. And its not only ‘fun’ that we are talking of. All of us who register will also be helping to raise donations for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Yeah Nike! what a fantastic idea for a brilliant cause. Everyone who virtually runs the 13.1 virtual marathon course will receive A Nike Sports Essentials Finisher's T-shirt and an Official Finisher Keychain designed by Tiffany & Co. This keychain is exclusive to Nike+ Women's Half Marathon finishers and cannot be purchased in stores.
