Plus-size model Crystal Renn proves thin isn’t in!

If you like Kate Moss believe, that ‘nothing tastes as good as skinny feels’ then here is an eye-opener. Plus-size model Crystal Renn, takes on skinny rival Jacquelyn Jablonski by posing side-by-side in next month’s V Magazine. Point proven is, you don’t have to be a bunch of bones to make silhouettes look great on you and going by the pictures I couldn’t agree more. Not only does Crystal look great in what she is wearing but in many pictures augments the outfits much more than Jacquelyn.


The images were taken by top fashion photographer Terry Richardson are a part of campaigns for designers and magazines to use models with more varied looks, ages and body shapes. I think she is doing an act of kindness to all girls dying to get into Size zero garments.

    I think the plus size model is gorgeous, but I have to admit the thinner model has more skill. The one on the right seems to be going for a sexy pose in all her photos. Sticking her chest and butt out, comparable to Maxim and other similar magazines. The one on the left looks like someone you would see in Elle. She just has better poses, buts that’s just my opinion.

    if the girl on the left actually had a chest and butt she would look like that too. bigger girls don’t have to try and stick there chest and butt out to be sexy, they’ve already got the assets so it’s just how their body looks. if the skinny one of the left had a chest and butt and wasn’t just a stick would you say the same thing just because her chest and butt would be more noticeable?

    I actually think the one on the right pulls the outfits off much better than the girl on the left and I also think that her poses are more professional as the one on the left loses her neck on images one, three and four and she simply looks slutty in image four instead of sexy. Models are supposed to know how to use their body but I feel the girl on the left simply tried to hard and thought to much about each pose, the one on the right however looks elegant and simply as though she fell into the picture frame in a great pose. I have not been convinced by these images that big is better.
