Pong Prom lets you have some interactive dancing and gaming fun
|

If you are into gaming at all, you will appreciate Pong Prom, developed by Ed Keeble that transforms the body into an interface to control the game of pong. It's quite commendable that he has come up with a wearable gaming interface that works with two players, resulting in an experience that is both collaborative and competitive. It comes with an accelerometer attached at the back of the neck provides control of the game. You have to rock back and forth to move the game paddle left and right. The experience is that of dancing with your partner. The LED display at the front lets you see how the game is going. There's been some clever use of patches of conductive fabric, located on the shoulders, hips and cuffs, to create a serial connection between the Arduinos on each garment.
