Reversible destiny lofts are uncomfortable and not because they cost $750,000!

Here is another house that will make you blink a thousand times and 990 out of those would be the OMG-this-is-awesomely-unbelievable. The first one was the pink punishment Hello Kitty house that is in no way related to this except that both these are unconventional. Though the Hello Kitty house didn’t do anything other than shock the sh** outta you this fascinating house does a lot more to keep you going. Avant-garde architects Shusaku Arakawa (an artist) and Madeline Gins (a poet) have lately unveiled a childishly wacky/cool apartment complex in the Tokyo suburb of Mitaka. The electrifying element is these houses are intended to be uncomfortable and physically challenging. These plastic-like geometric units are chock-a-block of all sorts of hurdles only the youthful could put up with: uneven floors, balcony doors you have to crawl through, spherical rooms, blinding colours, transparent showers — the list goes on. I have never before prayed to be uncomfortable but I guess its time I did.
I am super-awed by this amazingly uncomfortable house and I have no qualms living in there. There are two hitches…first one- they cost $750,000 and second- I can’t afford these even for $2,000 a month! Huh! Pay $750,000 to save someone from living in a house as uncomfy as that one! No way!
