Semacode helps you shop directly from the ad

You can say that now it’s possible to shop directly from the ads itself. Advertising has taken a new form by not only tempting you to buy but directly selling you the product you fell for the moment you saw. Why wait till you got to the store……may be you’ll change your mind by then. Clothes retailer, H&M, has got on to an interesting ad campaign involving billboard and magazine print executions that contain an embedded code, which can be photographed with your cell phone. The code then allows access to H&M's product catalog through which products can be bought and charged to the cell phone user's account. Dubbed as Semacode, it takes the form of a black-and-white block formation which can carry coded information such as website addresses.
More from the advertising world to try to attract more shoppers in more tantalizing manner! Damn difficult to curb our shopping desires :(
