Smiley: The Nail Polish Art Car on eBay for $60,000

Bizarre, outlandish, reckless are some of the few terms that come to my mind when I came across "Smiley"- The Nail Polish Art Car at Autoblog. This 1996 Mitsubishi Mirage just got over and done with its time on eBay and somehow failed to get a single bid at its opening price of $60,000. South Carolina resident Yvonne Millner believed that her little car needed an extra ‘oomph’ to give it a unique look. So she started painting it (with nail polish) with designs that she thought might bring smiles to strangers who saw it. And she actually succeeded……only in getting the smiles on our face. Who the hell is gonna scrape out $60 thousand for this piece of NAIL ‘C’ART. Check out for more hilarious images after the jump.....

However Millner has gotten a lot of attention with the car and even did a spot on the Montel Williams show and it has also been featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not! I still cannot believe that this hospital worker and mother of three actually had the time and energy left to create this scrap-art.
