Solar Powered Bikini to power essential gadgets while you sunbathe

Are you among those who love spending hours soaking up the sun on beaches and tanning skin? Why not make use of all that rays for something more significant? Here’s more for a greener earth! It is the Solar Powered Bikini designed by Andrew Schneider. This new solar concept allows you to power up your phone, ipod, camera, keep your drink cold, in an environmentally friendly manner, while you tan. It is actually a standard medium-sized bikini swimsuit retrofitted with 1" x 4" photovoltaic film strips (which supply 6.5 volts at 1.5 amps) sewn together in series with conductive thread.

This solar bikini is just a concept for using solar power and it's not yet up for mass production, but I’d definitely try it as solar energy is the power of our future.
