Spike bench with a fee
Everything comes for a price and that includes resting your rear end on a park bench. Design student Fabian Brunsing has designed the “Pay & Sit: The Private Bench”. It’s a pretty devious and cruel device that makes it mandatory to pay a fee to rest your behind. It features retractable metal spikes and a coin slot. If you sit down on it without paying 70 cents, an array of spikes will jut out to poke your rear. After you pay the fee, the spikes retract and you can sit peacefully. However, when your time is up, you’d better get up quick or you are sure to be sore. I know cars need to have the pay and park facility, but why should it apply to us humans? I say boo to this idea!
