Steampunk exhibition at Phoenix this December 5

Steampunk is a sub-genre of fantasy and speculative fiction that came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. The term denotes works set in an era where steam power is still widely used usually the 19th century, and often set in Victorian era England but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy. So for all you lovers of this genre there is an exceptional exhibition coming this December 5 at First Studio put up by Arizona State University. The exhibition will have various pieces designed by the students and are sure to take you down memory lane. These vintage exhibits are definitely unique and show the creators great imaginative and designing skills. The sewing machine is just one of the many gadgets that will be on display at this exhibition.
The propellers on the drive wheel and thread spool spin when the machine is running and the designer has created this machine using spare parts from Phoenix's famous junk shop, Apache Reclamation.
