Swinxs hi-tech Gaming Console for interactive kids

Social activity and playing outdoors is an important aspect of growing up for kids and it cannot be wrought by gaming devices. At least we thought so, about the latter until the Swinxs gaming console arrived, making its debut in US. The gaming console was announced in 2008 and it was launched in Europe last year, providing hours of recreational use with lights and a built-in voice that explains games, recognizes players and also serving as a referee! The device is portable and screen-free, accommodating up to 10 players and featuring 26 games broken down into three categories- active, educational and adventurous. It includes scores of classic games like charades, hide-and-seek, tag, Flyswatter, Swinxsball and such. The games retain the old-fashioned means of fun and social interaction, alongside keeping at par with the wired youth.
It doesn’t stop at that; kids can download more games completely free of charge, exchange tips and experiences and keep track of personal scores. The brand boasts of a robust dev tool set that sets an example for other companies in the market to start making similar devices. Swinxs gaming device is designed for kids aged 4 and above. The whole set is available online for $150 and includes the console, the wristbands, a USB cable, an adapter, and 10 pre-installed games.
