I don't know whether to term this next piece of news as something to get publicity or a brave way of dealing with your problems. Tanya Vlach, a San Francisco-based artist, lost her eye in a 2005 car accident and now keeps a blog updating her monocular life. Tanya looks as good as any young girl her age as she has a real-enough looking prosthetic eye. And just like many girls her age she is a self confessed Sci-Fi Geek; however here is the interesting part. After getting approval from her doctors this Sci-Fi girl has put out a call for engineers to build her a camera for her fake eye. Freaky isn't it? But she hopes to transform into a real life Cyborg with this new enhancement. And for all those interested, Tanya has already put a list of possible specs on her blog.
Just some of the features that she would be looking for include DVR capabilities, MPEG-4 compression, a microSD slot, A/V out, and Bluetooth. So for all those who think they can help miss Tanya achieve her desire start working already. This is going to be one amazing story if she manages to pull off this crazy Sci-Fi aspiration.
