The Electromagnetic Pet Door by Smarthome features a weatherproof flap that unlocks when it senses your pet’s magnetic collar key. The pet door liner suits hollow and solid doors up to 2 ¼” thick. All other animals will encounter a locked flap. The kit comes with 2 magnetic collar keys and works on a 9V battery that is not included. It can be set for limiting the entries too, incase kitty is given time-out!
The Electromagnetic Pet Door includes the pet door and two magnetic keys and costs $55. Additional keys can be purchased for $10 each.
