Gizmodiva has never been shy of featuring stuff for the fairer sex and that includes a long list of pink-ed out products! The power of pink has been more dominant then ever. It is no longer a color restricted to women’s domain only. Even men are seen flaunting this blushing shade, at least in their wardrobes. However, peek in to the women’s world and Pink is splashed all over…right from clothes, cosmetics to gadgets, technology and even vehicles. I agree that adding a little color to the life is essential but some folks tread a bit further that is not acceptable to most of us. Even a young, smart, fashionable (enough of self-praising) lady like me cannot digest everything that’s PINK! 7) Pink Solar Cells –

Green goes pink too! In an attempt to make less expensive but more efficient solar cells researchers at Ohio State had come up with a nanotech solar cell with an unusual pink color. The dye-sensitive solar cells get their pink color from a mixture of ruthenium and either titanium or zinc oxide particles that absorb sunlight, while nanowires link the particles to provide power transfer.

6) Pink Gadgets –

Cell phones, music payers, laptops, gaming consoles and many more such gizmos look pretty in pink. But I think Pink Furry Phone or the Pink Purse Speakers are just too cheesy for any girls too!

5) Pink Guns –

For safety or for fun? Why bother about fashion or gender-based color options when its more important to focus on the target that needs to be shot at! Watch out for dozens of such pink weapons here.

4) Pink Train –

Care to step on a pink train to work? Some member at Webshots has added this description to the pink train’s image – ‘Cars 3003 and 3004 wrapped to commemorate the inauguration of the Pink Line; seen waiting for the first departure of run 301 on 25 June 2006’.

3) Pink Cars –

This has been tough as dozens of them are jamming up to find a place on this list. To start with Pink racing cars that speed up on racing circuits are an eyesore. Also the pink Bugatti Veyron is a shame to the brand. Third in line is Paris Hilton’s pink Bentley. Also this Hello Kitty themed pink car with pink tires scream for attention.

2) Pink Motorcycle –

Nothing is known about this piggy-headed pink motorcycle and I am glad that it’s that way. Why would someone be interested in knowing the designer or the detailed features about this appalling motorbike except to shoot out a curse? From the image I can tell you that it has a pigs head on the front head light with a rat sitting below it on the wheel guard. Sporting a furry seat, it also seems to have place for a plush toy on the rear. And all of this in pure pink! I beg of you to go through this image without cursing the designer.

An Ohio jail is being painted pink to test the local sheriff's theory that the color is soothing. They say soothing......i feel it is an added punishment to be confined inside pink walls!

All I can say is that design for PEOPLE not for genders. In the end, I know it comes down to a matter of choice......actually a matter of personal taste!
